Business duo team-up to launch a brand-new website, SeedTrust, to provide 24/7 document access for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors in a collaborative reproductive arrangement.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL, February 10, 2017- Roland S. Solloum, Esq., and Edward “Brock” Brockshmidt, C.P.A., have teamed up as co-founders of the newly branded SeedTrust. The duo initially formed Surrogate Escrow Services to offer their clients more reliable access to their escrow company and related paperwork during the surrogacy process.
The process of SeedTrust’s formation began in 2015 in West Palm Beach, Florida with one of Brock’s clients from his CPA firm that owns a family reproductive agency. Unable to reliably reach their escrow company, the client expressed a desire to find a dependable escrow business that offered true transparency and accessibility for all parties involved in the surrogacy process.
Brock turned to his long-time friend and attorney, Roland, for assistance in starting a new business that would become SeedTrust. The duo have been helping build families together now for almost two years, and in rebranding the company as SeedTrust have chosen a name that reflects how well something can develop when a seed is planted, and a dependable network is in place to support it. Both co-founders firmly believe that whatever the need is, formulating an idea or bringing a child into this world, trust is the key to any kind of growth.
SeedTrust will offer its clients 24/7 access to all of their escrow files during the surrogacy process. The company has partnered with the secure document repository company Smart Vault to help improve accessibility, increase transparency, and provide reliability that many surrogacy partnerships were lacking in the past.
Smart Vault provides everything from disbursement/reimbursement calendars and copies of contracts, to other relevant paperwork including receipts and invoices. All documents are available through a secure network, providing around-the-clock access to the same document version of each file for all parties, all in real time.
According to Salloum, “Our unique approach focuses on both the intended parents and surrogates by providing transparency, timely communication, and 24/7 access to the secure client portal where all parties can view the same documents in real-time, ultimately our goal is to give the intended parents and surrogates control over their documents without the need to send multiple email requests, wasting valuable time”.
The company and is owned and operated by Brockshmidt and Salloum, and all client funds are held and managed through a non-interest-bearing Attorney Trust Account that is regulated by the Florida Bar Association and secured with the Florida Bar Associations’ Client Security Fund.
